There has been a bug in the editing form for ages. You cannot add a picture by editing your upload. Try to put a 100kb JPEG with your next upload. |

I got it down to 96.7 kb, yet it still shows
it's over 200 kb. |

Only thing I can suggest is make sure the image
file is a jpeg. Website doesn't like png files.
You can edit the post to add an image. |

I am speechless... I've found a 10Mb picture, opened it with Gimp, resized it to 800*600p, saved it as a JPEG, and the result is a 100kb image. How the hell cannot you do something as simple as that? |

And I guess scaling down a picture to make it weigh less than 200kb was far beyond your graphic designer skills? I know resizing a picture with any painting program can be sooooooooo difficult sometimes. |
