Right on my house. Well, we are holding strong so far, but the worst is yet to come. I am in Alexandria, VA and about a half mile from the Potomac. Isabel's wind and rain came at about 2:00pm this afternoon and has not let up. So far we lost power for about 30 minutes around 5:00pm, but had it restored quickly. Hopefully it will not leave us without power tonight. They say we should expect more wind and rain than any other time today from about 10:00pm to 2:00am Friday. We will see what that brings. - Alex

We have been having problems with a high amount of packet loss between the web server and the internet as well as a consistent dropping of the connection since about 4:00pm 9/12/03. The connection failures have been cured however there is still a small amount of packet loss issues. What this means is that when you request a page, up to 25% of the data may be lost at some point during the transfer, making it seem as if the site is running very slow or pages are only partially loading. Please be patient as I am working with the provider to resolve all of these issues. Thank you. - Alex
