Hey dumbass, DOT. It just happends that right now i've been workin on a 2001 winston cup series roster. features all the cars. should be done in bout 2 weeks. For the reference i just had my 34th birthday!!

Its a game, not a real piece of art. I could understand if it were a real piece of art, because i am an artist. Thats why copyrights are drawn up for designs. To be totally honest with all of you, if i painted a car from scratch, and someone "Ripped" it as you call it, i honestly wouldnt care, because its just a game !!!!!!!

cyclone are you dumb? slow? the pitwagon clearly states NOT TO POST THEIR CARS IN WHOLE OR IN PART ANYWHERE ... giving them credit does not give you the right to rip their cars and post them. you act like thats a blanket from their statement of not posting cars. if you really wanted to make that your own... then you should have repainted the entire car - then you could have called it your own. as far as im concerned, and alot of other people.. you have no respect on here whatsoever. i really hope you learn to paint for yourself.. and someone rips you. maybe then you will understand how others feel, and why we feel so strongly about anit-piracy of our work.

Dude, i dont care about respect. Obviously none of you respect my ideas. I never once claimed this car as being mine. I gave the credit to the pitwagon. All i did was change the blue to black, remove the rookie stripe, and write "The Power of Pride" on the back. If you consider me applying my idea to a beautifully painted car as ripping it off, then you need to look over this site. All of you act like i am the only one that has ever done it, or that i will be the last one to do it. Im not the first, and i wont be the last to "rip" a car off. All i did was apply an idea that i had to the car, if you dont like it, dont download it, if you do be my guest and download it. Im done with this cars comments.

what i usually see, is the untalented who cant paint exceptional cars, are the ones who dont care what they post or who they steal from. and those who do paint exceptionally, dont want their cars ripped, changed and posted. i seen alot of whining on here "thats all i can do with psp" "it doesnt work well on my computer" bla bla bla. why dont you idiots take the time to LEARN how to paint? ive been painting for a year and a half - and ive never had to rip anyones paintjobs EVER. i made everything from scratch! that way, it was MINE and i could truthfully say i did it myself. ripping cars, no matter how miniscule it may seem to you guys, is wrong. there is a thing called respect. do you know the meaning of that? means respect others hard work. respect their wishes to not post their cars in whole or in part. apparently alot of you have NO respect for others. and that makes me sick. if it wasnt for these guys (and myself) you wouldnt have the beautiful paintjobs to rip in the first place. so why bust on them by ripping their cars? from a painters end of this, it really makes you think twice before painting something for people who dont respect your wishes, and rip you off. we in the nascarheat community had a similar problem of people ripping cars and posting them on other sites. i tell you what, its the worst feeling in the world, to see someone post one of your cars that you worked your ass off to complete, and they are calling it their own, and people are saying what a 'great' job they did. so why not be respectful people? its a simple thing, and it goes a long way in the community :)

Will (some of) you people just shut the hell up! I agree with DOT 100%. I just had to deal with somebody that stole one of my cars, changed the colors and posted it at their site. It pisses me off because I put MY hard work into it and some dumbass comes, changes the colors and calls it theirs. Get some talent or more IQ points at least. By all rights, somebody could get sued here. And also, the only reason that this car is in the top 5 downloads is because one of these morons that are griping at each other here is downloading it over and over.

Personally, no I wouldnt care if someone changed one of my cars. Especially if they gave me credit for the original like Cyclone obviously did. i'm sorry but anyone saying that Cyclone was doing something wrong here is wrong theirselves. You are a complete fool if you cannot see that cyclone was not doing this for his own lifting of respect. He was just posting another pain job, another car that someone might decide to add to their arsenal. he did not say CHECK OUT MY AWESOME CAR I DID ALL OF THIS w00t!!!!11!!1. He said check out this cool car. It was made by pitwagon I changed the colors. That's all he said. It was not neccessary for others to point that out. he said it himself. obviously nobody here has heard of intelectual property. if i really felt like it, (and i was the pit wagon) i could make a ligitament court case on why what you did was completly illegal. you stole from them, tweeked it and posted it without their permission EVEN THOUGH YOU SAID WHO MADE IT! its still illegal. piracy is not cool. (yeah, this is petty piracy) everyone lay off the tweeked or inverted cars unlees you totally created it. if ne of u saw my post in the forum (theres still time 2 respond, page 3) i had a bobby labonte alt. but i didnt erase the green- i made it from scratch. not only is it nicer to other people who have toiled away, it gives the painter a sense of fufilment, not robbery. just my 2 cents. (that was more like 3 but w/e)

and Deleteable_Man, since you thinks this looks nice, why don't I just go post, oh...one of the pitwagon's cars, and change a decal (not that I'm going to, but to get my point across in words) and you can say it looks nice, even if I spent 1 minute posting it, 4 minutes changing the decal and Kevin, Jon, or John and the PW spent the hours doing the base car.

Besides, It doesnt matter shit what pitwagon says. They dont have copyrights to this car, the 48, the sponsors, the templates, the colors or anything. "big time" sites put that shit up there to scare away little kids from stealing they're stuff but there is no legal backing at all. You could take any car they have and post it any where you want. They have no legal rights to them. Since, cyclone did in fact change the car itself, then it is no longer pitwagon's, it is cyclones and even then cyclone doesnt have legal rights to it either.

Both sides are right in this conversation. Cyclone did take a while to make this and gave credit, however, legally, he should not have posted this on the site. PitWagon clearly states not to repost in whole or part. I'm not sure, but maybe in this case, you can post a message in the forum that you have a modded car and will mail it to anybody who wants it. They might not agree to that either but that is my idea.

DOT, your such a fucking asshole! This car looks nice, regardless if he did the entire thing or not, IT LOOKS GREAT. He gave the original painter credit GOD DAMN IT! Some people here are such fucking dumbasses. I will definatley download this car, not because I give a rat shit about what it looked like when someone else made it, but because I like how it looks after this guy made it. So DOT, go fuck a hole in the wall or make your own damn car. AND, I agree that it is hard to make cars in the games's painshop if that's all you got. FUCK IT, thats all I ever used on my cars. I've spent hours on some and they have turned out shitty. So, great REPAINT/CAR/SKIN/WHATEVER THE FUCK ASSES LIKE DOT WANNA CALL IT, and that has been my 2.3451 cents..

Actually Days of Thunder, if you cant tell by looking on this site, i dont have any "buddies" just people that see things the way i do, just as you have people that agree with you. So thats not what happened. I dont know what happened to make it over 330, im no hacker, and i know i didnt do it. But whoever did it, THANKS !!!!!!!! Especially if it really was that many people.

As Sam (BlackIce) said at the RaceSIM forum, it doesn't matter if he gave credit or not! John has already stated he does NOT want his cars posted in whole or PART. Ever care to read the fine print at the bottom of the site? Guess not. If Cyclone had actually made this car, then we probably wouldn't have as many comments (except for maybe a few "Sweet!" and "Way cool!" type comments), like DOT said. And something like this getting 300 un-nessecary downloads, I don't need to comment on that. Have a nice day.

Ya know what I've had it with this site.He did nothing wrong here, he gave PitWagon credit. And I have tried this stuff in the in game paintshop and it take FOREVER. So I'm no longer gonna use the forums or post any cars I'm only gonna be here to download stuff. Just because you people act like baby's. Oh and I like the car, A LOT!

Well guess what, it took me more than 5 minutes . It took about 2 hours. And at no point whatsoever did i say the car was mine. all i said was that i changed the color to black. I gave Pitwagon the credit for the original car. That should be good enough. All i did was make it black.

Newsflash guys : This is not the first time someone has used someone elses car. Get over it. And, the games Magic Wand tool sucks on my computer, i dont know how it works on yours, but you know, thats your problem. If you dont like the car dont say anything and dont download it. Its that simple. I honestly dont care what any of you think anyway, because the car will remain here regardless. All cars go through evaluations, and they either pass or fail, so far, none of my cars have failed, they are all here, so everyone can just get over their ignorance.

Well thats all i can do without Paint shop Pro. I dont have any huge programs, so i use the games paintshop. Anyone who has used the games paintshop knows its a pain in the rear to use. So actually it takes more skill than you think so smartass. And, do you think i care about what the Pitwagon thinks?
