Who could forget this scheme? For those that are too young to remember this is the schme that Gordon ran in the Busch (Nationwide) Series. Although, the scheme was on a #1 Ford for Bill Davis Racing. The reason I called it a retro fictional being it's on a Chevy, Hendrick Number, and Sponsors. Credits: Temp/Contigs. - BCR edited by me. Logos - Deadpool, Muddslide, Google Images, Masgrafx. Numbers - Masgrafx edited by me. Driver Suit - BCR Render - Andy2448 from Stunod. Base was credit by me. Comments are welcomed. Screen Shot:
@wdnewberry, I think it's the optical illusion that the sideskirt creates. The slope of the side skirt makes it look like the stripe is sloping upwards to the front of the car (just my guess). I love this car, looks good, and brings back great memories :)
Looks good. I remember that old scheme. I just keep looking at the stripes on the side... it doesn't feel right to me, but can't be sure why. Not sure if angling them to match the slope of the skirts would do it or not. But a great looking retro to be sure.
baby ruths and the drive to end hunger...the circle of sponsorship lmao. this scheme brings tears to my eyes remembering this ride. great job good sir!
