Looking back at this car, brings back memories. Amazing that a car i screwed up "so bad" 8 years ago still has over 1000 downloads :)

Paint your cars however you want. I never said "waiting" was an excuse.... this is an excuse: "no 2006 car will be correct intill the green flag waves." If you can't handle people pointing out the numerous mistakes you make, then *you* get the heck out of here or paint better cars to prevent that. I never meant any of my comments about your car to be *personal* or *offend* you, I could care less if it was you or Michaelangelo painting this car, I was simply telling you the errors you made so you can improve upon those whenever you update. I never meant to offend you but obviously I did.

i cannot do 43 cars when speedweeks roles around... it will be easire to do most of them now and then go and update all the stuff that needs updated when speedweeks comes around. why is waiting a excusse i painted it my way will go you got a problem get the heck outa herr.

It is true that the car will probably look a little different on the track then it does on Jayski. However, the fact remains, this car is not very accurate to the Jayski image, whether you like it or not. That was all I stated earlier. Saying the car will "look different anyways" is only an excuse for swinging and missing. I have no problem if -Talon- wants to wait until Speedweeks to do an update, I think that is a smart idea but maybe he should have waited until then in the first place.

Correction. Chris "J.J." YeLey is a Busch Grand National driver and Interstate BattEries is a Cup sponsor. Notice the emphasis on the correct spelling? I see Talon has decided to correct his original posting title, so now I will have a bunch of users come on here and moan about how harsh I was and how I "know nothing". This is an open forum website. There is a "comments" section for a reason. If a painter cannot accept criticism -- any criticms, for that matter, without posting a nasty retort in reply, then maybe he shouldn't be posting cars at all. fyi, here are some clever facts you might like. Richard Petty - seven-time Cup champion, but perhaps the most overrated stock car driver in history, frequently bested by bitter rival David Pearson in head to head confrontations. During a Chrysler boycott of the sport in '65 over a row with Big Bill France over their Hemi engine, killed a spectator when he went drag racing and lost control of his Petty blue car and promptly returned to stock car racing. Perhaps you should spend your time doing something more constructive instead of trying to insult my knowledge on motor racing.

Chicago is dumb-a-s-s J.J Yelley is in NASCAR Busch Series you are not a NASCAR fan how old are you Chicago cause you dont know what INTERSTATE Batteries are and also dont criticise if you cant do better you probably dont even know who Kurt Busch,Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhart, Richard Petty, Davey Allison, Bobby Lobonte(100%), Dale Jarrett Chicago if you know who these guys are send me a PM something special (Career Highlights) these guys did

Who is J.J. Yelley? I have never heard of J.J. Yelley nor have I heard of an Interstate Battries. Someone clarify? Talon, for someone who used to plagarize entire cars and pass them on as your own, you definitely are quick to pull the trigger when criticized. Maybe you should actually accept some of that criticism and use it to improve your cars instead of replying with some smart-aleck retort and then flinging excuses about the accuracy (or inaccuracy, in your case) of paint schemes.

I agree....except it should indeed say Monte Carlo SS. Die cast's are very rarley correct unless it's a post race version. All of the 06 Monte Carlo's say SS. Other than the color good job.

Upon further review, the numbers and contingencies should be layering over the black part of the base. You need to add a Jesel decal to the contigs and swap the Gillete and Auto Meter logos. You are missing the Conagra Foods logo, the nose should have just "Monte Carlo" without the "SS", and your Insterstate logos on the sides are pretty small. And the green is quite too bright. At least that is what the image on Jayski shows.

Looks nice and slick. Maybe tone down the green to be a little darker, just a suggestion, unless it really is that bright this year.
