well i think i finally figured this track d/l thing out. One final question? Will anyone make North Wilkesboro? Because it would be nice to be able to race there again... any1 agree?

AWSOME TRACK,now that i got it to work,along with the .dat file needed,you also need the "arcade.cup.acd" file copied to the folder also,you can get that in any other track folder, like i said--AWSOME TRACK!!!!

FINIALLY! I got it to work the track is kick ass but i spun out and the caution laps are a pain in the ass so if you play this track turn em off-#29HARVICKFAN02

To get it to work in arcade, it needs a arcade.cup.acd file Get one from any other track and put it in ZJ. Worked for me.

i had it working the first time i put it in but after i got to the setup screen to setup my race and clicked accept the game just shut down like i clicked exit did any one have this problem r does nyone know how to fix this please answer this message thanx-#29HARVICKFAN02

Well the 1st time i tried to load it i had the same problem as everyone else. But i did what someone said and just named the Zjbeta.dat to just plain ol Zjbeta and it works just fine, Thanks for the info. What an awesome track! my 1st lap was over 230. I wouldn't want to do too many caution laps on it though! Thanks again..!DCR!_2hogs

i'm kinda new at this stuff .. i renamed it to zjbeta, downloaded, and it's in the NR02 tracks folder, but how do i really know if i downloaded it right. I've heard sum great reviews of this track and would like to try it out also. Plz help guys .. Thx :)

For those of you who like to race a realistic amount of miles. Edit your no of laps in the track confg file found inside your Zjbeta folder and set it at 102 laps (501.84 miles) instead of 200 laps (984 miles) as you can imagine that would drag on forever.

Well i zipped ZenJoltis and posted it here so download it and unzip it to your tracks file and enjoy.....leave comments....looks like they won't take more than 1 meg too bad i really like this site.....please e-mail nascarnet with your opinions. I can download it from me on iMesh search for zjbeta

dont rename the dat file zjbeta.dat. instead just name it zjbeta and it works perfectly. i've had the night version for a few months now but day version is much better for racing.

It took me less than 3 minutes to put it together. It works perfect. If anyone is having problems installing it i can zip it into a file so all you have to do is unzip it to your destination folder. If you would like this please leave comments. By the way cruzin you don't need to mess with the .dat by changing it to .Dat actually it would be .DAT so leave it alone! its fine the way it is just edit the name

I know what everyones problem is i had the same problem i tried everything everyone told me to then i realized something when you make the daytona.dat to zjbeta.dat make the .dat like this .Dat make the d a capital D DDDDD thats all you have to do zjbeta.Dat

I got it to install correctly but for me, after several uses, it won't load, and I have to delete and reinstall. I wonder if there is some kind of a beta timer on it? I wish the original authors would come out with their version of Zen Joltis for NR2002

Any way to make a destruction derby type track? I dunno like have a 3 mile straight away leading to a high ramp. jump off the ramp into a TP of cars (42 cars stacked)? I just think it would be kinda cool. thx

I think I can help the people who are having troubles running this track. I just recently dled the track and at first it didnt work for me. So I found out that the readme file had an error in it. When it says ".....and RENAME it to zjbeta.dat" you actually chould just rename it zjbeta without the .dat on the end. This doesnt seem like it will make a difference but I guess it does. So just try it. Im hopful that this will be valuable info to some people. Oh and this is a great track! HAPPY RACING!

I really want this track, but it wont let me d/l it. I click on the d/l icon and the d/l screen comes up and flashes, and thats all it does. Please help, this track was awsome for Nascar4.

Blah i mustve forgot the arcade mode setup file lol, just copy arcade.cup.sim(or whatever its exactly called lol) from your Daytona folder to the Zjbeta folder and that should make arcade (spew) mode work lol

I had the same problem until I switched to Simulation mode. Since this is a beta, I assume this will be fixed. Other than that, it's an awesome track! No more N4 for me.

Anyone having problems running ZenJoltis for NASCAR 2002, try setting the driving mode to simulation instead of arcade.

This is a bad azz track, I liked it in N4 and just love it I love it in N2002 also. Needs a out side pit Wall though, and some more in field things, like what I have no idea. Hey if there are any painters out there, I am looking for some one to paint for me two cars, from Stroker Ace both being The Chicken Pit Special the red and the tanish pink one.

Yeah I think future tracks are definitely on the way as well as maybe converting the two new "cookie cutters" to n4, its probably just mostly converting the Mips to a lower detail level for N4 I myself have tried to get Daytona roadcourse to work in N2002, but with no success. I think the author said he used mips from the Glen so maybe if i unpack N2002's 'glen and pull out the needed mip files from there it might work.... hmmm..... ;) we'll see how that goes

You are the man! Thanks for posting that for all of I us. I wonder why The Pits haven't figured this out. It worked the firt time, and even runs smoother than on N4. I can now say I am getting rid of N4 entirely.

Keep playing around with the .dat thing guys. sometimes if Windows has show/hide extensions on, it makes things confusing. so if your Daytona.dat in your Daytona folder only shows as the word "daytona" and not "daytona.dat", just rename "daytona" to "zjbeta" but if it says "daytona.dat" rename it to "zjbeta.dat" hope this helps those who are having trouble getting the track to load

i figured it out...just to let everyone know the readme says to name the Daytona.Dat file "zjbeta.DAT" but that didn't work for ZTECH64 and I. We had to rename the Daytona.DAT file to "zjbeta" plain and simple. Just a little help to those who maybe experiencing problems cause I know this thing is gonna be a monster download.
