um... if you steal a camera, and charge people to take their picture, will you get sued just for selling pictures? or the theft itself? Once Discreet gets your IP address, I seriously doubt they care if you made one dollar or no money what so ever on their $3,300 product... Check out the records and see just how many "homebodies" have been sued for downloaded and cracked software titles. Excuse me for ranting, just upsets me with all of the people using unauthorized, cracked, STOLEN software, that us real men buy with pride, and hard-earned money.

yeah hes right, if you do use a cracked version and end up making a profit off of something you created in 3d studio max they can sue you. but they aren't gonna do anything if you just download the demo and then use a key gen to get the key for free so you can just use it for learning at home.

Don't cheat the company... Buy the product if you want it! Besides, the Discreet products carry licensing software that can detect a product that's running a cracked version instead of a certified dongle!!! Or you can download a cracked version, and get prosecuted when they get your IP address the next time you get online! I guess it's up to you... It really upsets me when people like myself spend their hard-earned money to get a top of the line product, and there's people out there that encourage downloading cracked software... Suit yourself...

you can buy it if you have 3000 dollars of download it off kazaa. go to www.kazaa.com if you dont have kazaa. i can't teach people to use it unless im showing them. so don't know what to tell ya if you dont know how to use it.

Have you tried just doing a render from the Render Scene, instead of video post? I don't know what level you are at with Max, or what version you're using, but you can put the starfield as your environment in the Environments tab, and just render straight from "Render Scene"

oh yeah one more thing. if there are any MAX Gurus readin this. i just have a little question. ok. i try to render a starfield in my video post. and as you can see it didn't work. So i set up the starfield chose camera01 to render from. i set up the starfield like ive done many times at school and i render from video post from camerea01 now it renders the picture but does not even render video post. What options do i need to check to make sure it is set up right to render video post? any help will be appreciated. thank you./
