Michael Waltrip has just won the Daytona 500! After holding off the charge from Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr. along with all the other cars left, Waltrip snapped his losing streak with a huge win at Daytona, while Earnhardt and Kenny Schrader tangled in the fourth turn, eliminating them from competition. Even though I'm a huge Earnhardt fan, this was one heck of a race today! Congratulations Michael Waltrip!

Talk about a 500 this year! We've already seen the power of the Dodges and how well Elliott and Evernham have been performing together. As I watch the race with 8 laps to go, we see that Michael Waltrip is in the lead, with Earnhardt behind him. This should be a shootout to the end!
