I wanted to do a little tribute to Mark Martin since he was inducted
into the HOF. Mark's Valvoline car from 1999 is one of my favorite
schemes ever, but for the CWS version, I wanted to do his Eagle One
scheme.

Started painting for this mod and liking it. Thought I would
create a few retros for fun. First up, Ricky Rudd's mid-80's

for the Bullring's Dirt Late Model mod. These two are based on
2010 Mark Martin and 2001 Bill Elliott. Credits: temps-Bullring,

would share. First up - 2003 Kenny Wallace Stacker2 and 1994

So, I did the Kenny Wallace Dirt Racing Experience recently at
Volusia Speedpark. Had a blast. I decided to do up some cars
for the game based on the car I drove that day. Download
includes a Gen6 and a Bullring Dirt Late Model. Credits:

I haven't painted in a little while, and wanted to do
something different and not already done. As far as I can
tell, Richie never had a cup start, but he is in the Hall of
Fame, so I decided he deserved a tribute retro car! Richie
Evans certainly was the face of modified racing, especially in
the Northeast. He won an estimated 475 times in approximately
1,300 starts. On October 24, 1985, after having clinched the
1985 National Modified title (his 9th championship) the week
before, he was practicing for the Winn- Dixie 500 Modified
Feature at Martinsville Speedway when he crashed heavily in
turn 3. The 44-year-old perished in the accident. Credits:

So, I have been playing the Bullring's Dirt Late Model mod
lately and it is pretty awesome. I have made a handful of
fictionals to go in the game, so I thought I would share -
here's the first: Fred Jones-"the player". This scheme is
obviously based on the scheme of the default player car in the
original nr2003. Car file comes with the dirt on the car
(small pic), with a tga of the "clean" version also included.

Here is the scheme that Dale drove at 'The Winston' All Star
race in 1996.
I looked around for it and didn't see where anyone has done
it, so I did it up. I can't take much credit for it though, I
found the base at Stunodracing, and it came with most of the
logos already on it. Numbers-mas, contigs and race winner

Newman's scheme from this years Coca-Cola 600. This scheme was
so close to the scheme Ryan Preece drove at New Smyrna in the
K&N Series that I did a couple of months ago, I had to go ahead

So there are a couple of things going on here...I was
listening to a Speedway Legends segment with Bobby Allison the
other day and he spent a significant amount of time talking
about the AMC Matador he drove for Roger Penske in the 70's.
Not being familiar with the car, I did a little research. It
turns out that he drove this scheme (along with
Mark Donohue) in 1974, and then again in 1975 with
the number 16 (and again in 1977 driving for himself back with
the number 12). This scheme represents the scheme of Penske's
first venture into NASCAR. Also, I
discovered that 2016 is the 50th anniversary of Penske in
motorsports, so I decided I had to do a little tribute, hence
the Team Penske logos front and back and Penske 50 logo on the
b-pillars. I put the scheme on a Dodge because AMC was bought
out by Chrysler, and Chrysler is obviously affiliated with
Dodge. I didn't want to put AMC Matador all over the car like
the original but I subtly put AMC logos on the b-pillars and
driver's suit. I hope it makes sense to everybody. Credits:
temp-BR (so it's 1024-does anyone know of a 2048 Dodge temp? -
and it's for BR15 - it doesn't fit right on the BR13 Dodge),
contigs-harkleroad, number-mas edited by me, other logos-
