I'm afraid to post mine now, davewah your a good painter, so give the rest of us a break, this is this guys first car, im sure your first wasnt 110% percent accurate as you have to have it, so chill. I'm posting mine later for nr2002, its a little more accurate, but im missing some of the logos

You know, I have been idly watching the comments grow over this little debate about this isn't right, and that isn't right. Davewah it's not as if we are buying the car for Christ's sake, it's a free download that somebody created. Nothing more, it's not a contest, and nobody has elected you a seat as 'judge of the panel' here. Great job at bitching, and picking apart his attempt at sharing it though. ...And how do you really know who your bitching at here to begin with moron? Perhaps some kid wanted to post a paint job here on the site. I'm sure that one may be 'incorrect' as well by your standards, but do we really need to hear you pointing out the flaws of some 12 year olds upload because you can't keep your mouth shut? My God it's a computer game, and do you know what? Nothing in the 'computer game' is entirely 'accurate' to start with, including the car bodies themselves! So don't fret so much over your all important accuracy when it comes to a decal missing. Grow the **** up please! Nobody is doing you or any one else here a huge injustice to where you have to piss, and moan to this extent.

I guess you would not have noticed that seeing as how your head is up your a**. I am willing to bet that none of you have even downloaded this car. Otherwise you'd agree with me that it is garbage. Yes, I use a magnifying glass. It was $9.95 at Wal-mart. I stole it from a dirty Mexican right after he bought it. I have posted a total of three comments about cars being off and suddenly this is my day job and it takes up a great deal of my time. So far I have posted a three comments about cars being off since 500 days ago when I first registered to nascarnet. But obviously with all three of those comments I could not possibly have the time to work a day job from 7 to 5. I take a lot of beer breaks.

To answer your question SR, davewah sits around all day staring at paint schemes for accuracy, that's who. Then he comes on here and searches for the most ridiculously small details that are the smallest fraction of an inch off, so he can swoop in and make sure everyone knows that HE knows how it's really supposed to look. But, he's always "just trying to help." Get a life man. Who the hell made you God of sim car painting?

Hey thats fine, its your opinion. However I dont do this for a living but 5 outta 10?? c'mon. I made this car to be used for racing, i dont know who just sits and stares at paint schemes all day for perfection. I know exactly what i missed, basically the "official" quarter-panel decals, driver signature & chevy logo should be red instead of white which also should be adjusted higher. The cars gotta be at least a 7 out of 10 but when its on the track, you'll barely notice the minor details.

You probably should have spent more than 30 minutes on this one. The only thing really accurate about the car is the base, which is still only roughly close. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 2 for accuracy and a 5 overall for effort. The only decals that are even correct are the Budweiser decals on the sides and hood, and the Menard logos on the rear quarter panels. Every other logo is off or not even present. Like the quarter panel has Sonic and We Care but should have Miller Welding, Freightliner and Safety Kleen. The C post should have Bass pro but has Team Realtree and AC Delco. The signature is Dale Sr.'s. But for a general appearance the car is ok I guess.

I've searched but i haven't seen any with this scheme, i've seen black with the DEI stripes but none with Sr's base.

Well of course theres a ton of em but they're all done for NR2003. To be honest, if there are already ones done in the past for 02, they'd still be at least a little bit off. if sum1 can tell me how to capture a screenshot, i'll repost w/pic. I think its either a F# or one of the num keys.

He said he didn't know how to take a screenshot from in the game. Simple, just get the car to where you want and hit your "Print Screen" button. Once you have done that and exited your game go into your paint program and click paste.

I like how people are complaining on how many of these cars are out there. Does it really matter? No it doesnt. If someone wants to paint one they are more then welcome to. So if you dont have anything nice to say, just dont leave any more comments.

What do you mean "here it is"? There are plenty of these cars done. Look at the top downloads "it" has been here for a while and I am sure those cars took longer than 30 min.
