This is based around a conversation my brother and I had about recent Earnhardt posts on here and just how long it's been since he was racing his car. First of credits: Temp is from Lurn2Burn, Logos from Nascarartist20 and Masgrafx, numbers from Masgrafx, signature by COLVIN35, contigs by Deadpool and the base is adapted from Blueclipse28's Cup90 Earnhardt base, render by DawsonvilleBill9 at RacinGrafix
Now a lot of guys will feel this is innaccurate or wrong for a lot of reasons so I feel I shoould list the assumptions I'm making with this one...
1) Some guys might argue that if it's an accurate 2010 Earnhardt car it should be sponsored by Shell, I don't buy that, I reckon Goodwrench would never have withdrawn their funding if he was still behind the wheel.
2) As for the new Goodwrench logo vs the old one? Again i doubt FGM would have felt the need to jazz up the logo if they still sponsored a car driven by Earnhardt, he single handedly drew in a huge chunk of customers for them and I think they felt the difference when their car wasn't being raced by him. Alos the old logo is way better in my view :)
3)Associate sponsors are all taken from Nascarartist20's logo sheet, so I have pretty much just picked the ones I liked and put them where I liked, it's still a Goodwrench and it still has Snap-On and Coca-Cola, but AGAIN it's a fictional so there is nothing wrong with taking a few liberties, it's got the basic look of a Goodwrench scheme and that's enough for me.
4) Obviously I'm also assuming that Chevrolet will enter the Camaro style in 2010, that's more hope than anything factual, but it does look awesome in my view.
5) I've been wary of posting fictional Earnhardt cars in the past due to the negative "Stop painting #3 cars and get a life" reaction they sometimes receive. However I've decided I don't care, it's a FICTIONAL, so long as it's not racist, offensive or just plain rude I can paint whatever I want and if you don't like it don't bother downloading it, simple!
