Generic crews - Set 1 - Generic crews 1.zip 722 downloads
RacerRon13 - 2/7/2007 - 3 User Comments - 2,253.8 kb
Saw in the forums that someone was wondering if there were generic crews available anywhere. Well, these aren't great, but will look better than the ugly Papyrus ones. Several different colors to choose from. Something should work for you. This set features sleeveless shirts and denim pants. Just unzip the folder, place files into your imports_exports folder, then import onto whichever crew you wish. You can then go into the Paint Shop and throw a basic number on it. CREDITS: NASCAR.li for the pit crew template. Google search for denim layer and arm flesh.

Based off of Rick Miller's ASA Late Model. I have the LM available at my section at Short Track Central. I simply used my graphics from that car to create this one...for Cup mod. This is for whattim_10...or whomever may want it. CREDITS: Brian Simpson for the template. STC for Late Model accessories. STC (STC<bld>) for the contingencies as well as ASA website and respective company sites. Sorry...can't remember who sent me the outlined Valvoline logo. Lefthander site for their logo. NASCAR.li for the pit crew template. MIKESTR31 for the render.

No big deal, but thought this was kinda funny. This car, with no assistance, does a 360 and ends up in his pit stall. Don't know if there's a little bug with the Lake Erie_day track, but have never seen something like this. Can only view if you have the LMPv2 mod.
Fictional #4 FOREIGNER Ford - 4_Foreigner_Ford.cup.car 584 downloads
RacerRon13 - 8/3/2006 - 2 User Comments - 1,412.3 kb
Saw that Aehoki was making some "band" cars, so I decided to throw one together of my all-time favorite, FOREIGNER. Nothing great, but here if someone wants it. OH..and I've added a couple associate logos since these pics. THANKS to: YARA for the template (edited from Brian Simpson). FOREIGNER logos from www.foreigneronline.com and www.chat-page.com/foreigner SONY/BMG and Fender logos (not shown) from BoTW. Bman for contingencies and Chevydriver3 for B-pillar logos. Pit crew and driver's templates from FBR.

Figured people will be looking for cars to add to the new 70's mod until the painters start working their magic, so here's what I threw together for myself. Comes with a pit crew. I don't know why the wheels didn't show up. Will have to look into that.

Here's another Late Model fictional. Made a Smith car since they support local racing. They are also associated with Mike Wallace. THANKS to Short Track Central for the template, accessories and contingencies. ProWeb for the NAPA decal. Other logos from their respective internet sites. NASCAR.li for the pit crew template. Rest by me.

RacerRon13 - 7/14/2005 - 4 User Comments - 679.3 kb
Well, since a few people liked my other fictional I thought I'd throw this one online. I'm a little partial to this one since my last name is Fox. ( Unfortunately, I'm not related to Jim Fox who originated the franchise in my home state of (Pittsburgh) Pennsylvania. LOL ) I've seen Fox's sponsor local cars, so I made them a primary backer on this one. THANKS to Short Track Central for the template, accessories and contingencies. Race Scheme Central and Summer Bros. for some of the decals. www.foxspizza.com for their logo. Had to "fudge" the fox's hat on the quarter panels. Hopefully, I can make it to Jennerstown Speedway sometime in the next few weeks to take some photos so I can make some real Late Models again. Hope you like. Look for a couple more fictionals in the next few days.

Here's a Late Model requested by krazykarter7 in the forums. I wasn't instructed as to what to add besides the Tide stuff, so I threw on some other decals to fill it out. THANKS to STC for the template, accessories and contingencies. MasGrafx, SBR and Brands of the World for logos and numbers. NASCAR.li for the pitcrew template. I used a Tide base from MasGrfx but had to modify it to fit the LM template.

This is a request from the forums. I only put it together. kdunlap53 came up with the design. Personally, I think it looks like a Late Model you could find at any paved short track across the country. Thanks to Short Track Central for the template, accessories and contingencies. NASCAR.li for the pit crew template. kdunlap53 for the hood logo. The rest by me.
Jennerstown Late Model - #84 A.Wylie (CORRECTED) - 84_A_Wylie_Jtwn.gns.car 909 downloads
RacerRon13 - 6/21/2005 - 2 User Comments - 559.5 kb
Posted this a few days ago but had to with the driver's side numbers slanting the wrong way. Getting good photos to go by for cutting and pasting has been frustrating. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get anymore of this car. But, thanks to advice from here, I learned how to skew images. So, I have tilted the number in the correct direction. If you got this one before and are a stickler for accuracy, you may want to replace the old one. Up to you. Figured I'd share. Same credits, obviously.

Hope you don't mind me creating a pitcrew for your Late Model. A pet peeve of mine. Very simple looking crew, but better than a blank one. It's a .tga file. Just place in your import/export folder, then import it into the game.
Stockton99 Late Model - #20 Allison Duncan - 20_A_Duncan_Stockton.gns.car 690 downloads
RacerRon13 - 6/16/2005 - 5 User Comments - 681.9 kb
Read on Jayski that Allison Duncan became the first female to win a Late Model feature at Stockton99 Speedway. So, I threw this one together. She drives for Bill McAnally, who is part of the RCR driver development program (with Sarah Fisher). Thanks to Short Track Central for the template, assessories and contingencies. Lanzock and Team Hyper Speed for a couple of the decals. NASCAR.li for the pitcrew template. Brian Simpson for the metallic layers. I don't claim this is very accurate. The numbers are close, but not a 100% match. And, because of how the model distorts the decals near the top edge of the 1/4 panel, I relocated the Miller decals. The contingencies are pretty close though. Anyway, I figured I'd throw this on online also. You can get the Stockton99 Speedway at http://www.ddawgcreations.com/in_ddawg_pound.htm although a newer version is in the works. CONGRATS Allison!!!
Irwindale Late Model - #14 C.Clyne - 14_XenTX_Chris.gns.car 746 downloads
RacerRon13 - 6/16/2005 - 0 User Comments - 699.0 kb
Figured I'd throw this one online. Three days ago, an employee at XenTx wrote to me. He said he had seen the Dave Marcis fictional I had done using XenTx as the sponsor (he endorses the product). The guy wanted to know if I could design a paint scheme for a Late Model they sponsor. Chris Clyne drives this at Irwindale and The Bullring at Las Vegas. I like a challenge, so I threw this together based off of photos he sent to me to give him an idea of what could be done within the confines of the game. I don't claim this is a work of art. The numbers are blurry. Had to use the photos, which has been my biggest frustration in creating these cars. The car had very few contingencies, so I left them off since I couldn't read them anyway. Thanks to Short Track Central for the template. Brian Simpson for the metallic layers. NASCAR.li for the pitcrew template. I'm still working on some Jennerstown Late Models so keep checking in. You can get a link for the Irwindale track at http://www.simracingconnection.com/ ...OH!!!...BTW...the guy never did get back to me. LOL

I got a sudden interest in the Late Model mod, so I started tinkering with making some actual cars - past and present. Don't know if there's a demand for these cars, but I felt pretty good about this one. Will post more IF there seems to be an interest and as I create them. I don't claim these are totally accurate since it is difficult to get the necessary logos/pictures. Made most of this from www.andrewwylie.com and www.jennerstown.com Thanks to Short Track Central for the template and contingencies. NASCAR.li for the pitcrew. P.S. I corrected the hood. Replaced "Racing" with "Build on what we know"

I try to be original and create totally fictional cars. Thought I'd give a semi-real car a try. Template is from SBR (modified from Brian Simpson, of course). Used Simpson's dual metallic layers. I created the base. Sponsor logos are from SBR, MasGrfx, Lanzock and Rubbins-Racin. Citi Financial from their website. And B-pillar decals from chevydriver3's awesome set. Contingencies are from MasGrfx. I have had the numbers since '01 and have no idea where they came from. Used Rubbins-Racin's modified driver template and even added Davey's face inside the helmet. Pitcrew template from NASCAR.li. After starting this, I came up with different versions. Check them all out. Comments, compliments and even constructive criticism are welcomed. Please keep in mind that this IS a fictional and not meant to accurately replicate any particular car. P.S. The pics of each car aren't the greatest, but they are sharp looiing - contrary to what the picture looks like.

Well...not too many people liked my last Smith car, but I wanted to try out Tucknut's 2006 Monte Carlo template (modified from B.Simpson, of course). Just something I threw together. Contingencies from MasGrafx. Smith and Sheetz logos from the web. Diet PEPSI??? Rest by me.

RacerRon13 - 5/8/2005 - 3 User Comments - 604.5 kb
Been awhile, so I threw this together. It may be simple, but still took some time to make. Thanks to SBR for their '05 template (modified from B.Simpson, of course). MasGrafx for the Busch contingencies and NASCAR.li for the pit crew template. Smith Transport was founded in nearby Roaring Spring, PA. In high school I actually dated the daughter of the owner's girlfriend at the time. Smith has been a supporter of local racing and is associated with Mike Wallace. Made it a Ford since Barry Smith is a huge Ford fan. And a local car they sponsored was #55. If you're from central Pennsylvania, you've see these trucks all of the time. Thought I'd make it a Busch car to compete against the #1 Yellow Freight car. LOL

Read where Jimmie Johnson is running a limited Busch schedule with Kobalt as the sponsor. Figured until the schemes come out and the real painters work their magic, that I'd throw this one together to get by on. This was the easiest car I've ever done. I take no credit except for slapping it together. Brian Simpson temp, decals by MasGrafx and the base is from SBR (although it's meant for a Ford). Thanks to NASCAR.li for the crew temp.

Read on Jayski that Marcis had a big announcement coming up. Don't know what the news is, but saw on his website that he endorses XenTx. So, I cleaned up the logo (a new endeavor for me) and threw together this car. I think the base works well, although I don't know who it's from - one of the bigger sites I'm sure. Decals by TeamHyperSpeed, Summer Bros., and NASCAR.li Also, thanks to NASCAR.li for the crew template. Being old school, I couldn't resist making Dave a different car as if he were still out there every week.
