Here is the latest truck in my series of retro schemes - the #7 Exide Ford driven by Geoff Bodine in 1995. Couldn't find the exact number so I used a close substitute. CREDITS: SG3 (image), BCR (template, contingencies), me (base), DeadPool and MasGrafx (logos), and Ten0r (render). Have no idea where the numbers came from.

fiogf49gjkf0d
Here is another retro truck scheme - the #24 Quaker State Chevy driven by Jack Sprague in 1997 to the first of his three CTS championships. Found very few images of this truck, so I had to use my judgment on some of the details. CREDITS: Google (images, logos), BCR (template, contingencies), me (base), DeadPool and MasGrafx (logos), Mayo (numbers), and Ten0r (render).
Retro CTS09 - #6 Total - 6_Total.rar 278 downloads

fiogf49gjkf0d
My version of the #6 Total Petroleum Chevy driven by Rick Carelli to a 6th place finish in the points standings in 1995. Not 100% but close. The zip file also includes an alternate scheme using Total's current logo. CREDITS: SG3 (image), BCR (template, contingencies), me (base), DeadPool and Google (logos), SimBodyShop (numbers), and Ten0r (render).
Retro CTS09 - #17 Western Auto - 17_WesternAuto.rar 358 downloads

fiogf49gjkf0d
Another retro truck scheme - the #17 Western Auto Chevy driven by Darrell Waltrip in 1995 in a limited schedule (4 races, finishing 41st in points). Close but not perfect. CREDITS: SG3 (image), BCR (template, contingencies), me (base), DeadPool and Google (logos), CC48 (numbers), and Ten0r (render).
Retro CTS09 - #16 NAPA - 16_NAPA.rar 401 downloads

fiogf49gjkf0d
Another retro scheme - the #16 NAPA Chevy that Ron Hornaday drove to his first truck championship in 1996. Not perfect but close. Just as in the case of my Goodwrench truck, because of a lack of images on the Internet, I had to use a tga pulled from SG3's truckset for the original CTS mod. CREDITS: SG3 (image), DeadPool (CoT base modified by me to fit the CTS09), BCR (template, contingencies), Google (logos), SimBodyShop (numbers), and Ten0r (render).
Retro CTS09 - #3 Goodwrench - 3_Goodwrench.rar 419 downloads

fiogf49gjkf0d
Here is my version of the #3 Goodwrench truck driven by Mike Skinner to the very first Craftsman Truck Series championship in 1995. Not 100% but close. Since I found absolutely no images of this truck on the Internet, I used a tga that I pulled from a 1995 truckset done by SG3 for the original CTS mod. I did not rip anything from SG3's work - I simply used the tga as a guide. CREDITS: SG3 (image), BCR (template, contingencies), DeadPool (CoT base modified by me to fit the CTS09, logos, numbers), Google (logos), and Ten0r (render).

Updated version of the Alabama truck I did couple months back, for the CTS09 mod. Changed the number after last Thursday's game. See where Muddslide did a tribute car as well (nice job!). CREDITS: Wardog (template, contingencies), me (base), SportsLogos.net and Yahoo (logos), MasGrafx (numbers), and Ten0r (render).
Retro CTS09 - #1 Mopar - 1_Mopar.zip 365 downloads
jrp61356 - 12/11/2009 - 3 User Comments - 407.2 kb
Here is another retro CTS09 -- the #1 Mopar Dodge. Not completely accurate, but close. Had to use my judgment on some of the barbed wire patterns. Must admit that this one turned out to be more of a challenge than I had expected. CREDITS: Jayski (images), BCR (template, contingencies), me (base), Masgrafx and Google (logos), DeadPool (numbers), and Ten0r (render).

Another retro CTS09 - the #52 Federated Chevy. Not 100% but close. I only had one image to work with, so I had to use my judgment on some of the details. CREDITS: Jayski (image), Wardog (template, contingencies), me (base), Google and Masgrafx (logos), Sim Body Shop (numbers), and Ten0r (render).
Retro CTS09 - #75 Spears - 75_Spears.rar 355 downloads
jrp61356 - 11/18/2009 - 2 User Comments - 384.6 kb
Here is my version of one of my favorite truck schemes - the #75 Spears Chevy. Not 100% but close. Couldn't find the correct font for the "Spears" text on the tailgate and quarterpanels so I had to use a close substitute. CREDITS: Jayski (images), Wardog (template, contingencies), me (base), Google (logos), SimBodyShop (numbers), and Ten0r (render).

jrp61356 - 11/5/2009 - 7 User Comments - 773.7 kb
Here is a truck I did recently, for the CTS09 mod. 21 is for the number of SEC championships Bama has won. I also have a version that has white numbers, if anyone is interested. CREDITS: Wardog (template, contingencies), me (base), SportsLogos.net and Yahoo (logos), DeadPool (numbers), and Ten0r (render).

The sixth car in my MLB carset is the Seattle Mariners Pontiac, #77 in recognition of their first year of existence. Since having the render done, I realized that the door numbers were a bit too small, so that has been corrected in the car file. Credits: FBR (template), jjk_nascarfanz (base), sportslogos.net and Yahoo (logos), MasGrafx (contingencies), MRD (numbers), and Ten0r (render).

Up next in my MLB set is the Colorado Rockies Nissan, #07 in recognition of their first World Series appearance. Made the numbers red because I felt that would contrast better with the black base. Credits: MLDesigns (mountains layer), sportslogos.net and Yahoo (logos), MasGrafx (contingencies), MRD (numbers), and Ten0r (render). Still not sure where the Nissan Altima temp came from.

Having been inspired by other sports-themed carsets from CleBrowns63, wdnewberry, and most recently, theshackle, I have decided to do a COY carset for Major League Baseball. I will not, however, be using the standard models. Instead, I will use the BMW M5, Nissan Altima, Pontiac GTO, and Volvo S80. That being said, here is the first car of the set - the Pittsburgh Pirates Nissan, #21 in honor of the great Roberto Clemente. Credits - MasGrafx (base, contingencies, numbers), sportslogos.com and Yahoo (logos), and Ten0r (render). I'm not sure where the temp came from (I've had it a couple years). Seems like it came from a website that had an extensive collection of alternate temps, but has since gone dark. Anyway, if it's yours, claim it, and I will give proper credit in the future. Comments welcome.
