This then allows you to (amongst other things) convert tracks running in N4 to run in N2002. There was a request on the forum for a track converter, hence this post.
I used this program to create the N2002 versions of Silverstone, Bullrun, Cleveland and O-Ring before The Pits released their track conversion program. Works with any track. You can also use it to convert other N4 mips to be N2002 'compliant', if you need to. Converts single files or can batch convert.
Read the accompanying text file for instructions - it also leads you through converting a track.

When I converted it there seemed to be an invisible wall right across the track just out from the pit lane. I looked at the files but couldnt figure it. maybe I had an earlier installation or something. i'll go get it (the N4 version) again...

Great work on the converter. I had to follow the read me explicitly, but I converted Daytona_Roardcorse and it worked great. They are written in a completly different format and I dont have the time or the will to learn about their formats. I would rather concentrate on N4 and N2002 tracks and edits.
St Jovite is one of the tracks that will convert from N4 either with this program or the track converter from The Pits (I believe). |
