Lately I've been busy with schoolwork (grad school is real tough, let me tell you). But that still hasn't stopped me from painting cars. Here is a paint scheme mash-up which is a cross between Dale Jarrett's 1993 Daytona 500-winning Interstate Batteries Lumina and Kyle Busch's 2011 Interstate Batteries car that you currently see on the track today, all rendered onto a Whelen Modified. It's a base white scheme, with the lines of the first Joe Gibbs Racing Interstate Batteries car. Being that I am no fan of Kyle Busch, I managed to remove Kyle's signature from the "Battery Breakout" graphic and superimpose Dale Jarrett's signature in its place. I also managed to use the 1993 contigs true to Dale Jarrett's 1993 Daytona 500-winning car. The only thing fictitious you see is the J&J Auto Racing logos (I'm a sprint car guy). Thanks to Scott Huhn Designs for the base, Interstate Batteries logos, and vintage contigs; Google for the "Battery Breakthrough" logos; and Seeklogo.com for the numbers. Anyway, that's all I have to say, so download, race, and enjoy! Screen Shot:
