The lines on the hood are more jagged then trg's, because when i traced i screwed up a bit and had to correct it, so their not perfectly rounded, also the lines on each side of the template where the conts are are not the same as trg's because their conts on the flay layer covered it up, and ic ouldn't see, so i winged it, i didn't complete the back of the base because i rushed and the front is a little miss aligned, theirs is perfect... i can handle that you want some difference for your driver, i'm sick of rainbows myself with gordon... but dont accuse me of ripping when i have work that presents i do no such thing. |

edf40wrjww2NASNET_comment:commentdescription fiogf49gjkf0d fiogf49gjkf0d you are a freakin moron, tracing it means i saw where the lines met on the wireframe, from a flat tga image of the TRG 31 and created it as i eyeballed it using the pen tool, i didn't rip it from their car, you'll notice subtle differences if you have good enough eyes. just stop rebuttling and look at the rest of my work, i have very original idea's, you're speaking on behalf of nothing you know for sure, this was MY TAKE on what it could look like next year, given that RCR has "regurgitated a scheme" before i.e... Bowyer/Earnhardt, they could feasibly do it again... and my name isn't "the painter" it's jerry or mr2324jgf. owned. |

I simly said, it would have been cool to see something original, not just a change in color from this year. Simple comment. then someone had to make a comment to me that was unnecessarily personal much like the last 2 or 3 comments here. I wasnt trying to be a "d bag" for the sake of being a "d bag". In my previous post you may notice I didnt say I knew he did or did not "create" the base. But siince he has said he "traced" it I guess your mom may have taught you to apologize??? Its ok. I dont want one anyway. I am no painter, true, I have a life, a job, kids,ect. I do this for fun. I apologize to the painter. I meant no "harm". yes maybe I should have kept my opinion to myself. But being a Jeff Burton fan for so many years, I had to give my opinion. As far as I think, it would be cool to see it in all black. Maybe a retro "Intimidator" look. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even people that leave criticism and have nothing of their own to show. No biggie :-) |

He says he did, and I wouild trust that people wouldnt lie (maybe overlook), but not lie about where they got their stuff. I would at least say that I took someone els's base, changed the colors and put CAT on it just so I could put a "fictional" 2009 scheme up. there are really great painters on here and maybe this guy is one of them. I know I am no painter but if one puts their work out and doesnt expect to have criticism, be good or bad, then they need a thicker skin. Again, all I said was," its the same scheme as this year with different colors and its not very original. If you want to dispute that, please do by all means. and this is not directed to the painter. |
