Did i say i was makiing fun of this car. I never make fun of anyone's work. We all had to start some where. I just like to see new painters experiment more. I've seen some of his original bases and they look great. At SPR he was doing some great paint schemes up until we closed the doors on a 5 year old painting site. So if my comments where takin wrong then i apologize. I also did the exact same car but with the number 51 on it.

well shicks maybe not everybody can make bases and such. I myself, even into a year of painting, still use pre made bases - but i am starting to make more of them as i learn. So don't ever make fun of a great car that has a pre made base. great car skippy, that should be a real car.

thanks for stickin up for me guys... appreciate the comments from the few of you that still appreciate all the painters around here... if i could make my own stuff i would, and i am learning a lot every car i make... i have made a couple bases (fic) and a few logos (real) but damni have only been around here for just over a year... some of you guys have been here for 3-5 years and are very good indeed... then again i have seen people here 3-5 years who may not be all that good, but hey they still take pride in their work and still keep on trying... thanks guys!!! hope you like the updated version better... i just couldn't get another render fast enough...

I couldnt have said it better houston, I myself am thinking of retiring, because of what has become of the nascar world. Its only computer generated cars we paint its not going to cure cancer or any other problem for that matter, cant we just either DL or not DL someones work without ranking on it, BTW nice job Skippy....

and shicks its also people like you that drive away painters, its not downloading a base and slapping it on a car cause than a few logos and maybe the number would covered up, You People Should Shut the F*** Up if you dont have anything nice to say

i don't know about you, but i can't post a car that i didn't make the base of (ever since i started making my own bases). i know people put them out there for download, but you can't brag about any cars you make because you didn't really make them. my advice is to learn to make your own bases as early as you can, more oppurtunities open up after that because you're not limited to what people put up for download.

Anybody can download that base and slap it on a car. Premade logos and numbers are pretty simple to put on also.

oooh, i dunno... im not very good at flames or bases, but sure i could give it a try. i will post the base and see your guys' comments b4 i proceed... IF YOU DOWNLOADED THIS ALREADY, RE-DL BECAUSE I HAVE SINCE UPDATED THE CAR & PIC... MORE STARS!!!!!
