Isn't the definition of an alternate car is a change in colors, which is what you did. I have no problem with using already made cars, as I tend to do so in N4 and others. It's just fun to see what you can do to pre-made cars. It takes imagination, and for all you who criticize such work because this person didn't spend endless hours creating another car from scratch don't understand that this is a GAME, and is SUPPOSED to be fun, not tedious. No disrespect to those who do spend time on making new cars, but I hope that you can appreciate what someone tries to do and the fact that he decides to share it!!!

JayWag, give the guy a break! He did work hard on this. Sure, he could have worked harder, and the car could have been better, its not perfect, but he did a semi-good job and you don't need to pound him about it! Nice car, by the way, it could have been a lot worse.

All I ever said was that Bill Elloit could race this car in The Winston, thought it would be cool, all they do in The Winston is that change the color of the backround, maybe add some meltallic paint, thats all they do so chill out.

you guys are ruthless, he never said it was from scratch. He never said it was his own work. he just said he thought it looked better with that color. Damn, we all know what he did. Any idiot would know that. If that is the way he wants the car then let him "fill" the cars that way.

The thing is, he didn't work much on this. All he did was start the game, select a lime green color, take the paint bucket, and paint it over the red. Look at the contingency decals...you can tell that's all he did because the red background of the NASCAR Winston Cup and TrueValue decals, which is the same red as the #9 car, is suddenly gone. Also, you can see where the fading red into white is on all the logos. I could go into the Paint Shop in the game and duplicate this in a shorter amount of time it took the game itself to boot up. You didn't fool anyone with your "hard work and time" you put into the blue #31 Cingular / Robby Gordon alternate, and you're not fooling anyone with your lime green #9 Dodge / Bill Elliott alternate, either.

Needs some touch up work, but it looks nice. Next time though, give credit to who originally painted this car. Just a tip. -Sam

great job filling in the colors!! Just because he didn't build it from scratch doesn't mean he didn't spend some hard work and time on it. He didn't say he was as excellent as you fast and flames. Great job. You're right that color does look good.

You can see all the red from the original car. Next time try and take a plain car and work from there.
