Thanks for the comments guys. I have also updated my Brent Sherman car. It is hi res and I used zone 15s template.

Great car dude! Look @ ypor player ini. there schould be something like "paintshop" change the 0 to 1 (or the other way round - dunno anymore) and your problem of the resized cars should be gone!

Ok im pritty sure I did it... atleast it looks better. Thanks for helping I have been asking around how to do it and never got any help.

Ok, when you pain a car in 1024, you must import it into the game from the opponent manager, not the ingame paint shop. This will keep the car hi res. Also, a hi res car will appear chopped up into the corner when you enter the paint shop. That's just the way it is. If you need to make changes to the car, you'll have to import/ export it from the opponent manager and not the paint shop. Don't even bother entering the ingame paint shop. Just do the importing/ exporting from the opponent manager, ignore the chopped image (that's how it's supposed to be due to the different template size), and you'll keep the car hi res. So could you give it another try to make this car hi res?

I paint the cars in paintshop in 1024 but when I import them into the game they go back to 512. When I download other high res cars and i go into the game paintshop they are chop and only fill the upper right corner. How do I keep them 1024?

I would love it if you could make it in hi res. All you need is a painting program such as Paint Shop Pro (not sure if you already have it- a 60 day free trial of Paint Shop Pro 9 can be found at www.jasc.com). Once you have that, you need a hi res template. For the Dodge Charger, it can be found at MasGrafx's site (www.masgrafx.com/masgrafxracing/). Then, it's just painting as usual. And when putting your work into the game, you must import the .tga file from the opponent manager instead of the paint shop to make it a hi res car. That's all you have to do! Could you please make this car in hi res??? It's the only 2005 hi res car that I'm missing to have a complete set.
