I've been making chromed cars since the program came out, most are ok but now I've taken the time to make all my chromed cars High Resolution. Hwoarong, if you start doing yours in HiRes let me know, if you don't know how and want too let me know.

Ok, nuff said. DO NOT USE MY TUTORIAL OR THE CHROME ILLUSION PROGRAM TO POST CARS THAT ARE NOT YOURS. We will all be watching!

HotRod, I do put my work and "talent" into real cars, thats my Job, I detail autos, and paint flames and schemes on cars, NR2003 is a hobby of mine, and well, it used to allow me to relieve stress...so much for that..

I agree with Hwoarong, ranman, I did not mean that in disrespect to you, or in selfishness, Im stating that I was here in Nascar 4, when people stole cars from sites like BPMRacing.net (Closed because of people stealing cars) and made them into chrome illusion, they werent real CI cars like Hwoarong's and Mine, Ricky and I both took a long time researching and learning how to do these cars, I know personally that I have a understanding of how a computer program works, its a seventh sense so to speak, Im a horrible teacher though, some people ask me how to do things, and I'll show them, but if I show one person, the floodgates open...and people all of a sudden are ordering me to jump off a bridge for them...that's not happening again, I keep my things to myself, and hope that you all can learn, and become a better person because of it...if that makes me sound selfish, so be it...but when it comes to that subject, you can ask my girlfriend just how "selfish" I am, and how much I "dont" spoil her...;-)

What is this dumb game coming to?? I do like to race and paint cars but Shheesh. If someone posts a Chrome Illusion car you dont like then DON'T download it. I see all kinds a garbage one here and other sites. I thought this was all for fun, some of you dudes are way too serious! You guys ever thin about putting your work into a damn real car?? LOL

it isn't that i'm affraid to share my sectrets, its first i don't have time to answer everyone, i do help people out and answer questions, but i will help, i'm not gonna do it for ya. I'm on this site to make cars for people, not to teach people how to make cars. And i try to help the people that help me. It's not selfish, its not secretive. I just can't spend 23 hours a day on the damn computer. If you can thats fine, if ranman can than thats fine. But I can't. And i really don't appreciate you calling me selfish, if i was selfish my cars wouldn't be on this site and a few others.

Hwoarong I know you put a lot of effort and time into your work and it shows, but why dont share your secrets? I think you were a bit selfish not responding to me, look at ranman I have bugged him thousands of times and he has always responded. Obviously he aint afraid of sharing his secrets.

and on another note, i'm not being selfish. I am a single father, who has to work, and live my life. I get hundreds of requests and questions, I simply do not have the time to answer and explain every little thing. and if you have to ask me where and how to get and use chrome illusion then you have put little effort into researching it. If you would have came off saying hey i got the prog and i'm having a little trouble with (something little) i would have helped. before you go calling people selfish, try doing the work for yourself first (like me venom and alot of other good painters have to do) We pride ourselves on our work, so we don't want to tell all our secrets and give out all of our hard labor so other people can change it modify it or copy it and say they made it.

I agree with venom, but on one hand, there is alot more to it then using this program, to have a clean look and smooth morphing you have to know how to make the layers right. I have no fear of someone trying to replicate a car like mine. But i do think the chrome illusion flood gates have just opened, there will be people posting cars that arent chrome illusion, they will just throw different cars in as layers and the end product will be crap. I have one chrome illusion car left i am going to post, after that i'm done with it. Good luck to all who use the program, as long as they take the time to be creative and make the layers right then i say good. but please just don't slop stuff together.

Thanx ranman, I need this tutorial myself. I posted the link to the program cause I saw many people wanted it, Venom sounds kinda selfish posting that commment. I had asked 2 guys (venom, Hwoarong) on how to make chrome illusion cars and nobody responded. Its pretty sad that two guys that make some of the best cars are kinda selfish.

Thanx Ranman for the explianation, this program works nice. Oh, and don't worry .:.VeNoM.:., you won't see 1 chrome illusion car from me unless I think its really, really nice... so yeah, like I said, you won't see any cars from me... now you gotta worry about the other 500+ that post here...

You shouldnt have done this, its gonna open the floodgates of ripped chrome illusion cars, thats why noone wants to tell anyone how to do it...around n4 when this program came out, people would steal pitwagon cars and chrome together jr and sr, and call it theirs...bad move dude...
