Oh, I understand now. But...... you have a desire to paint cars and apparently the ideas to do same, it might be worth picking up the game and paint software and "just do it!"

Like I said, all I did was save the car that someone else had painted and I used Lasc Paint Shop Pro 8 to paint it. I didn't spend a lot of time on it. I was just wanting to give someone an idea of a car that they could do since they might have the right tools. Of course it is useless to download, I just posted a pic (but I had to put the download thing to get the pic to show up). These are cars that I would like to see someone make. I don't even have these games. It's just that since I was a little kid that I've always wanted to design race cars, or at least give ideas of some race cars. I never said they would turn out pretty...

Tires look good. You did something very wrong with the paint though. Get Paintshop Pro or (the much more expensive) Photoshop. Then get a template file from Brian Simpson. They can be found at http://www.sportplanet.com/team-lightspeed/ or use one of the many good open templates found here. Start from there. Start with stripes, numbers, and placement of decals. Develop the skill of working with layers. It is MUCH easier! Very important. When you DO have the file created in one of the paint programs, save it into your C:\Papyrus\Nascar Racing 200X Season\exports_imports folder as a .TGA file. Then open the Opponent manager in the game. Create a "new" driver file (which will be the name of the car file in your series\cup\cars folder)pick the same car manufacturer as the template used, go to paintshop, import the TGA file you just saved, DO NOT hit the button for the car manufacturer!! If you use a template you don't need to! View your creation using the 3D View and note any alignment issues you may have. If there are any, save your car/driver in the game, go back to your paint program to correct them, save the file again (overwrite original) in the exports_imports folder, open the in game paintshop, select the newly created driver, import the corrected file, view in 3D preview. Continue until you get what you want. Should help you create a good car. When you upload your creation to this site, you want to use your just created ".cup.car" file located in your game folder as the file (or alternately the raw TGA file). You can use the "print screen" function in the 3D view to get the image file to post as well. Happy Painting!!

Ok Can I ask you something else. Is this a joke!!!!. I mean you didn't paint a car you took a picture of a car, and painted on it..... Or is that what you thought you needed to do ???? Anyway even if someone wanted to download this picture for use. It would be useless in NR2003. or NR2002. It is only a picture.....

I do not want to put down either car, it good to see people willing to try. Which is appreciated atleast by me. But my question is WHAT kind of Program are you using for your paint schemes. I am wondering because the lines are terrible, with all kinds of wavy parts where you tried to do a good line. There is special tools in the program to make lines. Also You lost all of the Shading that the PSD Templates provide. It is in a layered form, so you can apply any color without losing your shading, and so on.

YES. I realized that I had saved it to "jpeg" instead of "jpg", oops. Sorry about the wasted space, but I wanted people to see how far I have progressed from this horrible car to the not-so-horrible La Carreta car. Be my guest to make a Zero Car of your own. And if anyone knows where I can find a white Dodge car like the Camry I used (except with the hood and left side showing) I would appreciate it
