I watched Dale for 20 years, I was 10 during his rookie season. I picked him out because he looks like my dad. When he died I cried several times during that week. He felt like a member of the family. And since I'm a Jr. as well, I can understand what Little E went through with all this. When Harvick drove Dale's car to Victory lane I was very happy, But when Jr. won later that year in the 400 at Daytona I think that that was my favorite racing moment in recent history. A hood for that would be cool.

any real nascar fan would be inhuman to not shed a tear or two when Dale died. i myself 2-3 days gettin watery eyes every time Dale was brought up in a conversation or hearing thoughs tribute song on the radio. awesome car man. could you make one for Dale winning the 500 or his 76th win?

I think just about every *fan* shed a tear or two after Dale's passing. I started watching NASCAR around '89 and my dad just bought a brand new, black Chevy Lumina. I drove that car up untill a few years ago and every time I was in it I felt like Dale myself. With my #3 decal on the rear windshield, I was ready to drive wherever. So after his death, everything I see with his name or number makes me think of all those great years of racing that he gave to us. Now we must all move on. The years ahead of us will be filled with great things, and fond memories. So if anyone thinks less of you for shedding a tear, then they are not right in mind. I felt exactly like what Chocolate Myers looked after Harvick won, high emotions. Execellent job!!

That really was one of the best sundays...watching Harvick take the checkered flag, at first I thought Gordon took the flag and I was kinda upset about that since I really wanted to see Harvick win...nice design

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I have a Jr one I'm working on right now. Thanks, mustang. Some people just don't understand. I had alot of people tell me I was being stupid when I told them I cried when Dale died but they just don't get it. When I was in Fontana last year on his birthday and Rusty took the victory lap with the Earnhardt flag I just lost it. Raceday just isn't what it used to be for me anymore, but I still have Team DEI and of course Kevin Harvick.

Two things I should mention: First, this car was originally done by The Pit Wagon. All I did was redo the hood. Second, this is a bitmap. I'm sure you all know the drill for using it!
