MB2 didnt buy them out till after LYCOS left and the car was white for 5 races or so. The numbers are off but other than that i love the car. Ive been waitin on it and finally it shows up cool cool cool.

It's a good paint scheme (one of my all-time favorites for Benson). But, the numbers don't seem right. By the way, this paint scheme was first used as a special scheme at Texas to pay homage to (at the time) their home state (This was when then TylerJet Motorsports was based in Tyler, Texas. The all white car ran in the Daytona 500, and the almost all black car with dark blue stripes and white numbers ran from Rockingham to Bristol (Food City 500).

great job, I have been looking forever for this car...but didn't he also have an all black car with blue stripes and white Lycos logos?

Actually this paint scheme is correct after the Daytona 500 was run that year. Lycos came aboard as a full sponsor after that and this scheme was used after that. Unfortunately the team never recieved the agreed upon webspace to sell advertising on so MB2 Racing cancelled the agreement. Aaron's Rents then came aboard for the rest of the year. A little history lesson for you all... lol. Nice job on this car dude!!! :)

hey thanks, it took me a while just to figure out how to run psp but their is the product although the dog is off alot that i had to do by hand and it dint come out the way i planned

Lycos did sponsor him except it was white and it had black numbers. Just plain white same sponsors except the dog.

Yes actually it was a quik deal after qualifing i think the car was white with purple at the bottom orange numbers and black lycos.com logos although they were small the raced that scheme i think for a few races then moved to a black with blue stripes then to this one then after the PEPSI400 got the deal with Aaron's scheme first with white numbers then switched font and color to orange

they didn't sponsor him at the daytona 500 did they? i remember him almost winning in a white pontiac, before being overtaken by the fords. great car though
